Service Region

Located at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa., the institute is one of 11 state-certified centers which provides comprehensive diagnostic services and treatment plans to all residents of northwestern Pennsylvania with cleft lip, cleft palate and related disorders. Children with other congenital or acquired conditions recognized as coming within the field of reconstructive plastic surgery, are also provided services. The institute's staff consists of highly qualified and dedicated specialists who volunteer their time to provide care for those individuals born with cleft lip, cleft palate or both.
